Yasuko Mori, MD, PHD

Professor, Kobe University, Graduate School of Medicine

Dr. Yasuko Mori is a professor at Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine and has worked as an ophthalmologist at Osaka University Hospital and affiliated hospitals.

She became interested in analyzing the pathogenesis of ocular herpesviruses, and entered Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine to conduct basic research on herpes virus. There, she encountered HHV-6, which became her life's research work.
